Machining valve internals is where we save clients the most
A seized or scored valve is usually written off and replaced. In most cases the stem, the gate and the seat can be remachined and the valve returned to specification for a fraction of the price of a new one.
We do the same on flow iron: re-cut threads, re-face unions, re-certify and return to the fleet rather than scrap.
